Are you open on holidays?

Yes, we are open every day, except January 1st.

 

What are your holiday hours?

We are open 10a.m. until 6p.m.

 

Do you have cakes in the store or I have to order?

Yes, we have full display available for order, you’re welcome to come to Chocolada and buy the cake.

 

Can you cut the cake?

The only cake we cut is Napoleon. Please make sure you’ve ordered it in advance.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Debit and Cash. Sorry we don’t accept AMEX and personal cheques.

 

Do you use animal products?

No, we don’t. We use gelatin in our mousse cakes, which is certified HALAL.

 

Do you make custom cakes?

Yes, we do, for any occasion.

 

If I would like to order custom cake, do I have to come to Chocolada?

You can email us a picture of the custom cake you like and we will discuss all details over phone/email and place an order.

 

Do you have other location?

The only location we have is 180 Steeles ave. West, unit #11, Thornhill, ON.

 

Can I cancel an online order?

No refund for online orders.

 

Can I cancel paid order?

We understand that plans may change; we accept cancellations by phone 3 days before your event, And we will give you in-store credit. In-store credit is unavailable online.

 

What is your allergy information?

We are not a nut-free bakery; all of our baked goods are prepared on premise.

 

How far in advance should I place my order?

Please place your orders 1-2 weeks in advance for a custom cake.

 

Do I have to leave deposit when I’m ordering custom cake?

Yes. Deposit is required for custom cakes.

 

But what if I need a cake tomorrow?

If you need a cake sooner, we have a limited number of cakes up to 8” in stock.

Please call and place an order over the phone to guarantee next day or same-day availability. We will always try to accommodate late
orders when possible.

 

Can I put something on hold?

Yes, with advance payment.

 

I’m getting married/throwing a big party. Can I come in for a cake consultation?

Absolutely, please call 905-882-4825 to make an appointment.

 

I would like a cake with a picture on it. Can you do that?

Yes. Please send us the image in the highest resolution possible to our e-mail. Cost of edible image is $25
